Both Charter and SBC are the two companies you can
get your high speed access from.
Our installation service is the best way to achieve
the high speed service you need, along with the security that is required
when running a broadband connection. Both companies simply install
the hardware, email, then they give you about five minutes of training,
then they leave.
For the less than the price of the standard $200.00
fee that SBC charges, we will:
1. Setup the DSL/Cable Broadband access.
2. Instruct you as to the standard use WEB, Email, Movies, Music,
etc.
3. Instruct you as to the Advanced use: Speed test your line, basic
trouble-shooting when you connection does not seem to work (this will
save you at least 30 minutes on the phone with tech support every
time).
4. Firewall setup & use to keep you safe from hackers. The average
DSL/cable user is probed by hackers at least once every 20 minutes.
That is why it is imperative that you make you high speed connection
secure from the first minute. Both SBC and Charter are not doing everything
they can to inform new users of the threats that exist when you have
a full-time high speed broadband connection.
5. How to transfer files using broadband connection.
6. How to add additional computers to you high speed internet at no
additional charge from you internet provider.
7. How to access your email remotely when you are out of town.
